Located in downtown Batesville, Kids Discovery Factory offers one floor of STEAM centered Discovery Stations specially designed for children aged 0-5. (Older Children (6-10+) are welcome and we find they also enjoy exploring our Discovery Stations.)
We have over 11 Discovery Stations for children and their caregivers to explore STEAM concepts such as air power, light and shadow, ramps, magnets, loose parts, art and more! If the day is nice, you might also find bonus activities taking place in the green space next to our mural.
Kids Discovery Factory offers a safe and inviting space for children to do their most serious work: PLAY!
Admission is $10 per family*. (Cash, Check or Charge) We currently have limited hours that vary monthly. As our program and staff grow, we will continue to expand our play hours to help reach as many interested families as possible. Please always check the current month's open hours when planning your visit. Updated Monthly Hours are found at the top of our webpage.
*Kids Discovery Factory participates in the Museums for All Initiative. Families that receive SNAP or WIC benefits and have a valid EBT card will receive free admission to the Early Explorers play hours.
