Kids Discovery Factory (KDF) is the grateful recipient of operating funds through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act passed by Congress in March 2020. Nearly $13,000 was awarded to KDF in the fall as part of the Arts, Cultural and Destination Marketing Organization Support Grant. Special thanks to the Indiana Destination Development Corporation, the Indiana Arts Commission, and those leaders who made the funding available.
About the program: There are many people, events, and organizations that contribute to the quality of place that we experience across the Hoosier State. The goal of this program is to assist in the preservation of these entities that enhance the quality of life in Indiana. The Indiana Destination Development Corporation (IDDC) will provide operating support to local entities, events and arts and cultural organizations whose normal business has been interrupted due to COVID-19.
