Kids Discovery Factory is honored to announce the addition of Rhastina Blessing and Sonja White to our Board of Directors.
About Rhastina Blessing:
Rhastina Blessing is an elementary school teacher at Greensburg Elementary and an Amplify Science Professional Learning Specialist. Previously, Mrs. Blessing was a Science and History inclusion teacher in Richmond, IN and a First Grade teacher in Minneapolis, MN. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education, M.A. in Educational Leadership, licensure in Mild Intervention Special Education and a licensure in Administration. Rhastina lives in Batesville with her husband and children. Her background in education makes her a valuable addition to the Board of Directors and Exhibit Design Committee.
About Sonja White:
Sonja White is the Human Resources Manager for Batesville Tool & Die, Inc. She was in the Commercial/Retail Banking industry for 23 years and most recently in the government sector for 5 years. Mrs. White has 3 master’s degrees: one in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Human Resources from the University of Indianapolis, and one in Law from Trinity Law School. She was also a previous Board of Director for the University of Indianapolis Alumni Association in 2006 and volunteer for the Habitat for Humanity.
She is married to her husband, Larry of 27 years who is Production Leader for Large Assembly AE Defense & Helicopter Engines of Rolls-Royce. They have two sons, Justin Conyer, 33 who is a heavy equipment operator, and Blake White who is a sophomore and QB at Wabash College.
