Total Solar Eclipse!
Join us to learn about this exciting phenomenon! We have hands-on space and solar eclipse programming during the month of March. Youth visitors will receive free solar glasses (while supplies last). Children are invited to earn a Junior Ranger badge by completing an activity booklet created by Ivy Tech. Activity booklets are available at the museums front desk. We are open during select hours Monday through Friday. View hours here.
We will have special open hours on Saturday, April 6th from 9am to 12pm and we will be participating in a community wide celebration on April 7th from 12pm to 5pm at Gillespie Soccer Park.
Help us participate in NASA funded research!
Collect your own multi-sensory data on the Eclipse Soundscapes Field Notes paper during the eclipse on April 8th. Send your notes in and become an official citizen scientist for NASA. You can find the field notes paper here.
